<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thick steel plate manufacturing apparatus for improving the productivity of a thick steel plate, and for improving the operating efficiency at a client side. <P>SOLUTION: A thick steel plate with edge is manufactured by cutting the top end and rear end of a thick steel plate whose hot rolling has been carried out by a rolling mill according to an order received from a customer, and when the manufactured thick steel plate with edge is delivered to a customer, a segmentation position for cutting the ordered product from the thick steel plate with edge is calculated based on the size of the manufactured thick steel plate with edge and the size of the product ordered by the customer, and the calculated segmentation position information is transmitted to the customer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
