A brake system of a worktable is provided to prevent the accident caused by the falling of a worktable even if a temporary fixing device of a worktable is damaged. A brake system of a worktable contains: a worktable(20) fixed to a wall(10) of a vertical member of a building temporarily using a temporary fixing device(100); a slope connection member(200) extended obliquely from the lower part of the worktable to the wall and composed of a connection member supporter having a brake member contact unit to make surface contact with a brake member and a connection member extension unit extended downward from the connection member supporter; and a brake member(300) provided with a wall contact unit(310) contacted to the wall and installed to the bottom of the slope connection member by a brake member hinge.
