PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a molded article with good accuracy at low costs by closing molds with an upper mold placed on the top of a lower mold to form a resin. SOLUTION: The resin molding method comprises the steps of placing the upper mold 100 on the top of the lower mold 200 by elevating or lowering either one of the upper mold 100 and the lower mold 200; closing the upper mold 100 and the lower mold 200 to make a sealed space SP in the inside; and heating and compressing the sealed space SP in which a resin material is filled to shape a resin molded article MD. An air layer 300 is formed between the lower mold 100 and the resin molded article to allow removal of the resin molded article MD adhering on the upper mold 100 from the lower 200 in the state wherein the molds 100, 200 are opened.
