PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit deformation of a piston top from affecting a skirt part when a gas bearing is formed between a piston and a cylinder. SOLUTION: The piston 20 has the skirt part 24 integrally formed on the piston top 20t. An accumulator partition 26 is provided inside the skirt part 24 as a structure separate from the skirt part 24 and not joined to the skirt part 24. The accumulator partition 26 divides an interior space of the skirt part 24 and defines a second accumulator 22<SB>2</SB>. Gas of a working space in the cylinder in which the piston 20 reciprocates is introduced in the second accumulator 22<SB>2</SB>. The gas introduced in the second accumulator 22<SB>2</SB>is discharged between the piston 20 and the cylinder from first gas discharging holes 23<SB>1</SB>and second gas discharging holes 23<SB>2</SB>opened in a side periphery 24s of the skirt part 24.
