PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pull type nurse call switch, used by an inpatient having the ability to pull something by one foot even if he has no function of pressing a push button, and used without varying the voltage, facilitating storage and lowering the manufacturing cost although the now used articles for preventing roaming behavior of the inpatient or persons in a caring home are expensive, hardly stored and not used due to shortage of voltage in some home. SOLUTION: The shape of a switch part of a nurse call is altered, and an electric interrupting material 12 is held by the tip of a cord to cut off an electric circuit, whereby the electric interrupting material 12 is pulled out to make the electric current flow so that the nurse call responds. A part of the electric interrupting material 12 is put out of a switch cover 15 and provided with a hole 16, and a string or a chain is passed through the hole 16. When the electric interrupting material 12 is pulled out by pulling the string or the chain, an interrupted part makes a contact to let the electric current flow so that the nurse call responds.
