PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling the rotation of a drum which can maintain the quality of concrete. SOLUTION: In the drum rotation controlling device having driving means 1 and 2 rotating/driving the drum D mounted rotatably on a concrete mixer truck and a control part 5 controlling the driving means 1 and 2, the total number of revolution quantity threshold value Nmax is determined on the basis of a slump value. When the number of revolution quantity N of the drum D exceeds the total number of revolution quantity threshold value Nmax, a drum rotation velocity is lowered to maintain the quality of the concrete.
