A control and protective system for a generator particularly for aircraft comprises a number of static sensing circuits replacing sensitive mechanical relays which may operate spuriously due to mechanical shock. The circuits sense under and over voltage, low frequency, and asymmetry due to a single phase fault, each circuit being controlled by transistors which operate transistor bi-stable circuits through which the generator may be disconnected from the load and the excitation suppressed.</p> |
