A connector is provided to minimize damage of a combining protrusion formed at a plug and a plug pin and prevent particles from infiltrating into the contact face of the plug and a socket. A connector includes a plug(10) and a socket(20). The plug includes a pair of combining protrusions(12) upwardly protruded from a plug base(11) made of an insulator, and a plurality of plug pins(13) inserted into the combining protrusions. The bottom ends of the plug pins are protruded from the bottom of the plug base, and the tops of the plug pins are exposed from the sides of the combining protrusions. The socket includes a pair of combining holes(22) formed at one side of a socket base(21) formed of an insulator and a plurality of socket pins(23) inserted into the combining holes to come into contact with the plug pins. The one end of each of the socket pins is protruded from the socket base. The combining protrusions of the plug are inserted into the combining holes of the socket. A protection wall(14) is formed on the plug base and protruded from the plug base upward. The socket base is inserted into the protection wall.
