The method is related to the composition of a mixture employed for the production of a solid wetting agent, used by fire-fighting units to treat extinguishing water in fighting fires. The mixture is suitable for pouring, extruding or pressing. The mixture is characterized by a combination of polyethylene glycol and a content of fluorinated tensides, together with a content of anion-active tensides, which ensure high foaming ability of the extinguishing solution with good foam stability. At higher concentrations of the mixture in the solution, an aqueous and polymer film is formed on the surface of the flammable liquid. |
