PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice dispenser capable of avoiding inconvenience such as mixing foreign matter in ice discharged when a component is damaged, while simplifying a structure for driving opening and closing of a shutter. SOLUTION: This ice dispenser has the shutter 68 for opening and closing a discharge port 63 formed in an ice storage 19, a horizontal directional rotary shaft 67 for rotatably pivoting an upper part of this shutter, a solenoid 28 arranged above the shutter, a connecting member 71 for connecting the shutter and a plunger 66 projecting downward from this solenoid, and a cover wall 73 erected on the non-pivoted side and both left and right sides of a shutter outside surface. The connecting member 71 shuts the discharge port by the shutter in a state of projecting the plunger from the solenoid, locks its state, and opens the discharge port by rotating the shutter around the rotary shaft in a state of attracting the plunger to the solenoid.
