<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner supply container which is superior in mountability to an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A toner cartridge 1 includes a container body 11 for storing toner, a shutter 16 installed so as to open/close a toner discharge opening 11a of the container body, a shutter gear 16a provided in the shutter, and a handle 15 which is provided in one end of the container body and has an engagement gear 15a for transmitting a driving force by its operation. The toner cartridge 1 is configured so that it is engaged with a driving force transmitting member 21 provided in the electrophotographic image forming apparatus, to establish a driving force transmitting path from the handle 15 to the shutter 16 when being mounted on the apparatus.
