PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent trash, such as dust, from collecting on a temperature detection face of a noncontact-type temperature detection means installed under an axial line of a heating roller. SOLUTION: A temperature detection means 50 has a rotation mechanism 70. The rotation mechanism enables the temperature detection means to have a temperature detection posture, in which a temperature detection face 51 is turned upward, the posture being shown by a solid line, and a waiting posture in which the temperature detection face 51 is turned downward, the posture being shown in dashed line. In the rotation mechanism 70, the driving force of a motor 71 rotates the temperature detection means 50 via the first gear 72, the second gear 73, an electromagnetic clutch 74, the first rotation shaft 75, a torque limiter 76 and the second rotation shaft 77 to change its attitude from the waiting attitude to the temperature detection attitude. When energy supply is interrupted to the motor 71 and the electromagnetic clutch 74, the temperature detection means 50 is rotated in the reverse direction by an energizing means 77, and its attitude from the temperature detection posture to the waiting attitude.
