<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a color filter using a thermosetting resin composition, as a protective layer, which excels in various properties such as chemical resistance and is soluble in water, that is, solves the problems of material cost, waste liquid treatment, handling, work environment, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a color filter having at least a colored layer and a protective layer on a transparent substrate includes a step of applying the thermosetting resin composition of which solvent is water or a mixture of water and an organic solvent on a transparent substrate on which a colored layer has been provided, and a step of forming a protective layer by baking the thermosetting resin composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
