PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a user, while reducing cost burden imposed on the user, by utilizing a portable player for navigation in a vehicle, while using it for its essential purpose. SOLUTION: This vehicle-mounted multimedia system has the portable player 2 having a storage means 47 into which voice data 64 and navigation data 66 are written by a computer device 3, and player reproduction means 109, 45 for reproducing the stored voice data 64; and a vehicle-mounted multimedia device 1 having a data acquisition means 123 for acquiring data stored in the storage means 47 from the portable player 2, a navigation means 125 for performing route guide of the vehicle or present place guide by using the data which are the navigation data 66 acquired by the data acquisition means 123, and vehicle-mounted reproduction means 128, 129, 32 for reproducing the voice data 64 acquired by the data acquisition means 123.
