摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer method of an electrooptical device by which a transfer frequency of data is lowered and a display image is suppressed from failing, and also to provide the electrooptical device and an electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: In an organic EL display device, a control circuit 6 which transfers image data of respective pixels to a data line driving circuit 3a has a line memory 10 and a data deleting circuit 11 which reads alternate pieces of image data of one line held therein from a 1st column. The data deleting circuit performs transfer processing for transferring lateral difference data of data differences between image data of respective pixels in odd-numbered columns and lateral difference data of lateral differences between image data of respective pixels of even-numbered columns. The data deleting circuit transfers two pieces of difference data as 8-bit data at a time when two successive pieces of lateral difference data can be represented with four or less bits in complement representation of "2".
