WIRELESS LAN SYSTEM, WIRELESS LAN ACCESS POINT, WIRELESS LAN TERMINAL, AND ACTUATION CONTROL METHOD USED THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless LAN system that can remotely perform actuation control over a wireless LAN terminal which is stopped or suspended even in environment wherein a connection is authenticated by an authentication server by using security technology of a wireless LAN, and a cipher key different from other terminals is used for communication and also periodically updated.

SOLUTION: A wireless LAN access point 2 recognizes a terminal actuation instruction signal 101 from a managing terminal 1 and controls a beacon transmission interval control part 21, which selects a normal operation mode or a patterned transmission interval mode according to the instruction to control transmission intervals of a beacon. A beacon interval detecting circuit 31 of the wireless LAN terminal 3 always monitors intervals of the beacon and outputs a detection signal when detecting a patterned beacon. A wireless LAN module 30 sends an actuation request to the wireless LAN terminal 3 when receiving the detection signal from the beacon interval detecting circuit 31.
