PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device which easily corrects FPN (fixed pattern noise) and has satisfactory image reproducibility. SOLUTION: This solid-state image pickup device 1 is provided with an image sensor 3 for generating an electrical signal corresponding to incident light quantity and an FPN correcting part 6 for performing FPN correction of the signal generated by the image sensor 3, and the FPN correcting part 6 consists of an FPN correcting data generating part 11 for generating FPN correcting data to be a reference value in performing FPN correction, a memory 13 for storing the FPN correcting data or the like generated by the FPN correcting data generating part 11 and a correction processing part 12 for performing correction processing by using the FPN correcting data stored in the memory 13.
