PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold which is capable of preventing the occurrence of dispersion in the transfer property within a cavity space and thus improving the quality of the resultant molding. SOLUTION: A molding machine comprises a mold main body; a transfer member attached to the mold main body and forming a transfer face provided with a fine recessed and protruded pattern on a face opposing the cavity spaces C1 and C2; and a heat insulation layer 35 placed on the back side of the transfer member, and made high in heat insulation property closer to the inflow part of a molding material to the cavity spaces C1 and C2 and low in heat insulation property apart far from the inflow part. Since the heat insulation layer 35 is made high in heat insulation property closer to the inflow part of the molding material to the cavity spaces C1 and C2 and low in heat insulation property apart far from the inflow part, the transfer property can be made high in the whole cavity spaces C1 and C2, and the pattern can be accurately transferred.
