PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush cutter facilely and easily changing angle posture of its rotary blade against the axis line of an operation pipe. SOLUTION: Connecting elements 6, 7 are set at the connecting part of an operation tube 10 with a rotary blade housing base end side cylinder 35A. On each of the connecting elements, transmission shaft through holes for inserting a transmission shaft 40 therethrough are formed, and on a connecting first element 6, connecting walls 62L and 62R are formed and, on the connecting second element 7, connecting walls 72L and 72R are formed. The connecting wall 62L and the connecting wall 72L are connected with a screw element 8 led in the thickness direction and forming a horizontal shaft 14 orthogonally crossing the axis line of the operation tube 10, thereby, the rotary blade housing base end side cylinder 35A is supported to the operation tube 10 rotatably with a predetermined resistance around the horizontal shaft 14, and a part, i.e. at least from the tip of the operation pipe 10 to the rotary blade supporting member, of the transmitting shaft 40 has flexibility.
