PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core for a rubber crawler capable of enhancing the anti-coming-off performance even if the rubber crawler involves a twist and eliminating the restriction on steel cords. SOLUTION: The core A for the rubber crawler is composed of a left 11 and a right wing 12, a sprocket engaging part 2 located between them, and corner parts 31 and 32 protruding toward the inside surface of the rubber crawler in such a way as pinching the sprocket engaging part 2, wherein a swellout part 5 protruding from in front and in the rear of the core A is formed on the peripheral surface of the sprocket engaging part 2, and at its two ends, concave-convex engagement parts 51 and 52 are formed directed oppositely.
