BATTERY PACK CHARGE STATE DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge state detector capable of detecting a disconnection between a cell constituting a battery pack and an overcharge detection circuit for detecting abnormality of the cell. SOLUTION: The charge state detector of this invention is constituted of a plurality of overcharge detection circuits and an OR circuit. The input impedances of the overcharge detection circuit connected with a neighboring cell are set to different values with each other. When a disconnection occurs between the cell and the overcharge detection circuit, a voltage corresponding to the overcharge state is impressed to one overcharge detection circuit because of difference of the input impedances with each other. The OR circuit can detect the disconnection between the cell and the overcharge detection circuit from the output of the overcharge detection circuit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
