PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting device which is easy to be carried in a state that a camera is mounted. SOLUTION: The supporting device of an imaging apparatus includes a leg member, a first member which is rotatably around a first shaft to the leg member, a second member rotatable around a second shaft substantially perpendicularly crossed with the first shaft to the first member and holding the imaging apparatus, and first and second motors for rotating the first and second members, respectively. The first shaft and the second shaft are arranged substantially on the identical side.
