PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice maker 50 for a refrigerator 100 with easy cleaning maintenance, capable of supplying a certain amount of water from a water supply tank 3 to an ice tray 4 by a simple composition. SOLUTION: In the refrigerator 100, a freezing chamber 2 is arranged below a refrigeration chamber 1, the water supply tank 3 is provided in the refrigeration chamber 1, the ice tray 4 is provided in the freezing chamber 2, a water supply passage 5 is provided for supplying the water from the water supply tank 3 to the ice tray 4, and a solenoid valve 33 is installed in the water supply passage 5. An opening and closing valve 31 wherein an opening becomes larger as a water pressure becomes lower, and a passing water amount per unit time is maintained at a constant is provided in an upstream side of the solenoid valve 33. A solenoid valve control means 34 provided with a timer mechanism measuring an opening time of the solenoid valve 33 is provided for freely controlling opening and closing of the solenoid valve 33.
