PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic irradiation treatment apparatus for a fluid, with which the fluid required to be cleaned such as drinking water, industrial water, an oil-like liquid, a natural gas-containing solution and natural gas can efficiently be cleaned economically. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with: a nonmagnetic material-made fluid passage cylinder 10 having a hollow part 11 through which the fluid 10 is made to pass; two pairs of magnet groups 20, 21 each of which consists of permanent magnets or electromagnets and which are arranged so that the south poles of magnets of one group are opposed to the north poles of magnets of the other group while interposing the hollow part 11; and a turning mechanism 32 for turning the south poles and the north poles of two pairs of magnet groups oppositely to one another. By turning the south poles and the north poles of the two pairs of magnets oppositely to one another, a magnetic flux density distribution of magnetic field generated from the magnet groups is forcibly and repeatedly converted into a magnetic flux density distribution which has high energy and a high gradient and the fluid is repeatedly irradiated with the the magnetic flux.
