PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a motor by reducing the eddy-current loss generated in a yoke. SOLUTION: In this motor, among others, the outer rotor motor is provided with a stator, a rotor, and particularly, a ring-shaped permanent magnet for making magnetic field generated and the permanent magnet surrounded by the nearly hollow cylindrical yoke. The yoke is formed into a plurality of layers, namely, the yoke is formed of a magnetic material, particularly by laminating a soft magnetic material into a plurality of layers. The eddy-current loss inside the yoke can be reduced by the plural-layer structure, and consequently, the efficiency of the motor can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
