PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep stable sewing quality regardless of change in the material of a cloth or a sewing thread or the interval of each sewing needle. SOLUTION: A sewing machine comprises: a needle driving mechanism for vertically moving the plurality of sewing needles 21, 22, 23 via a needle rod 24 which holds the aligned needles at the lower end part; a looper mechanism for catching the sewing threads put through the respective sewing needles under a needle plate 11; a needle thread take up mechanism having a rocking needle thread take up 51 which puts each sewing thread through a sewing thread put-through part and takes up each sewing thread in synchronization with a sewing machine main shaft; and a feed-out amount adjusting mechanism 60 for adjusting a feed-out amounts from the thread supply sources of the respective sewing threads by the needle thread take up mechanism. The feed-out amount adjusting mechanism adjusts the different sewing thread feed-out amounts concerning at least the two sewing needles 21, 23 positioned at both ends. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
