PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an animal to be administered a dose to surely swallow the administered dose by easily inserting medicine into the deep part of the mouse of the animal. SOLUTION: An oral dosage apparatus for the animal comprises: a grip part (G); a cervical duct part (N) with a medicine holding part (H) arranged at the distal end; a cylinder part (C) disposed in the grip (G); a piston part (P) in the cylinder part (C); and a rod (R) which is attached to the piston part (P), put through the cervical duct part (N), and allowed to face the medicine holding part (H) at the distal end, so as to push out the medicine.
