<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermophotovoltaic generator of which electric power generation efficiency is high irrespective of uneven temperature distribution existing on the light emission surface of an emitter. <P>SOLUTION: The thermophotovoltaic generator is provided with an emitter 2 which emits an infrared light by high-temperature heating and a plurality of photoelectric cells 5a placed oppositely to the emitter 2. In the respective photoelectric cells 5a, the light reception areas are changed according to the temperature distribution on the light emitting face of the emitter 2, so as to equalize the electric power generation of the respective photoelectric cells 5a. Thus, even if all of the photoelectric cells 5a are connected in series, the drop of the electric power generation efficiency can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
