<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To warm a fuel cell without installing an electric heater or the like heating a fuel cell main part or without using energy for heating. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter 61 for a compressor motor which is a power control means of a compressor motor 60 for driving a compressor 11 which is one of auxiliaries and an air heating pipe 83 and a hydrogen heating pipe 88 to be heated with the inverter 61 for the compressor motor are installed in a heating device 13. Three-way valves 81, 82, 86, 87 are controlled so that supply passages of air and hydrogen are changed over so as to heat one of them with the heating device 13 and supply to a humidifier 7. The inverter 61 for the compressor motor uses an SiC element 64 using silicon carbide (SiC) which is one of wide gap semiconductors as a switching element for the power control, and heats air or hydrogen by heat generation of the SiC element 64. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
