PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply perform the discharge timing control of a liquid even when a nozzle head equipped with a plurality of nozzles is so used as to be inclined with respect to a moving direction.

SOLUTION: When a table is moved in an X direction by a motor to perform scanning, an encoder outputs a position signal at every unit position and a counter output reads data wherein the number of outputs of the position signal is counted to output it to a memory 12. Drive data corresponding to respective nozzles n0-nare read from the memory 12 to be outputted to a nozzle head through a driver. The non-discharge data "0" is written in the address corresponding to a first moving distance from the reference position of the head is written in the memory 12 as the drive data corresponding to the nozzle n0and a discharge data "1" is subsequently written in the next address while the non-discharge data "0" is written in the address corresponding to a second moving distance from the next address to repeat the data patterns corresponding to the set discharge region.
