PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television printer capable of reducing print load. SOLUTION: The television printer 11 being connected with a television set comprises a HOST section 21 performing image processing for taking in and printing the signal for an image being displayed on the television set, and a device section 31 for visualizing the image processing results on a recording medium. The device section 31 monitors available capacity of a receiving buffer 37 and transmits "full notice" to the HOST section 21 if there is no available capacity.
