摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect excessive traveling torque efficiently by controlling remaining capacity SOC during the period of time when a car is driven considering the self discharging of HV battery 5 during the stop period of time of an engine and the like, and to make it possible to reliably start vehicles including a hybrid vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The controller 1 of the HV battery 5 calculates the lower limit of usable range NLSOC of the remaining capacity SOC considering the self discharging, by executing a main routine by a battery ECU 14. Then, an HV control ECU 15 controls the remaining capacity SOC based on the lower limit of the usable range NLSOC. Also, a value of self-discharging rate SDR is corrected using a predicted value of an average temperature during the stop period. This makes it possible to control the remaining capacity SOC considering self-discharging capacity.
