The invention relates to a tyre for motorised two-wheeled vehicles and, more specifically, motorcycles. One such tyre comprises at least one carcass-type reinforcing structure comprising reinforcing elements, which is anchored on either side of the tyre to a bead, the base of which is intended to be mounted to a rim seat. Each bead extends radially outwards through a sidewall and said sidewalls are assembled radially outwards to a running tread. Moreover, a crown reinforcing structure is disposed beneath the running tread, comprising at least one layer of reinforcing elements, known as the working layer. The working layer comprises at least one continuous reinforcing wire which, in the central area of said layer, forms segments having identical angles with the longitudinal axis, said angles being measured at the points of intersection with a circumferential plane. Moreover, two adjacent segments are connected by a loop and the segments form an angle with the longitudinal axis of between 10 and 80 DEG . |
