PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the efficiency of hot pressing a board during hot pressing from being lowered by transferring a board deposited on a caul to a hot pressing part through a transport means comprised of a transfer member and a setting member. SOLUTION: A caul 200 carrying a board 120 is transferred to a hot pressing part 310 by a transfer means 410. That is, the caul 200 is supported by a rail 420 through a caul supporting piece 42, and is transferred to a hot pressing part 310 without being slid into contact with another member. The caul 200 is transferred in such a manner that it is afloat upward by the height of the rail 420. In addition, when being transferred to the hot pressing part 310, the caul 20 is effectively prevented from being worn, as it has no member with which it is brought into contact, except being supported by the caul supporting piece 421. Further, the caul 200, transferred to the hot pressing part 310, is now supported by a setting member 440 instead of the transfer means 410. The setting member 440 sets the caul 200 to a specified hot pressing position 315 by being lowered, and then is retreated.
