<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film which functions as a protection film for a display device, whose display picture has neither glare nor reflection of external light, which has high scratch resistance, to which dust hardly adheres and which is free from faulty contact, and a picture display device excellent in the above-mentioned characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The antireflection film has an antireflection layer formed by successively providing a light diffusing layer or at least one high refractive index layer whose refractive index is higher than a supporting body made of cellulose acylate film whose film thickness is 30 to 120μm, and at least one low refractive index layer whose refractive index is lower than the supporting body on the supporting body. The cellulose acylate film is a long-length product whose length is 100 to 5,000m and whose width is ≥0.7m, and its film thickness variation width is within ±3% and its curl in a width direction is -7/m to +7/m.
