PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for splicing optical fibers capable of realizing positioning and arraying of two or more optical fibers, a method for assembling optical parts, and an optical fiber having an arraying member. SOLUTION: A method for splicing a plurality of optical fibers 4 to a separate plurality of optical fibers 5 is described. The plurality of optical fibers 4 are inserted into the optical fiber insertion holes of an optical fiber arraying part 11 to form a bundle 25 of optical fibers, on which the optical fiber arraying part 11 can freely move in the longitudinal direction of the plurality of optical fibers 4. The optical fiber arraying part 11 is disposed on the tip side of this bundle 25 of optical fibers, and the tip parts of each optical fiber 4, projecting from the optical fiber arraying part 11, are placed on a plurality of positioning grooves formed on the lateral direction on the positioning base of a splicing apparatus 1, in a state in which the tip parts are arrayed in the lateral direction by the optical fiber insertion holes.
