<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate material for a CTP method which has high sensitivity and excels in a printing performance, plate wear and handling properties. <P>SOLUTION: In the printing plate material having on a base a hydrophilic layer and a thermal image forming layer in this sequence from the base side, the hydrophilic layer contains metal oxide particles of 40-90 mass% having a photothermal conversion function and the thermal image forming layer contains a water-soluble polymeric compound of 10-50 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
