PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taping device capable of winding a tape continuously even if the object applied has a shape with no end such as connected wiring/piping, loop-shaped article, etc. and serving favorably even for site work. SOLUTION: The taping device is composed of a split rotor A capable of being changed into two conditions, the separate condition in which a receipt hole H for the object applied provided in the central part is opened laterally and the consolidated condition in a ring shape generated by closing the separate condition where the receipt hole H is taken into account, a rotational driving mechanism B to rotate the split rotor A while the consolidated condition is held, and a tape holder C turning in a single piece with the split rotor A and admitting rotation of a tape roll R round its own axis caused by drawing-out of the tape T, whereby the tape T can be wound continuously round the object by moving it relatively in the axial direction of the receipt hole H.
