<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an edible material by making use of nutritive value and medicinal effects of moringa. <P>SOLUTION: A dietary supplement 1 for nutritional function is prepared by drying and crushing moringa leaves, sieving and separating the crushed product and processing it to a solid form of granules or tablets. The moringa tea leaves 2 are prepared by washing, drying and crushing or baking after drying and crushing the moringa leaves. In the method for producing the same, degradation of amino acid components containing γ-aminolactic acid and alanine may be prevented by gas-treating the moringa leaves by sealing them in a nitrogen atmosphere after washing with water, drying by hot air in a shade and sorting them after crushing. A moringa tea beverage 3 contains a water soluble component of dried and crushed moringa leaves or an extract of the moringa leaves 2.
