PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coke oven lid which prevents the deterioration of a bar spring with a corrosive gas and by the rise of temperature and has excellent gas tightness and durability. SOLUTION: (1) This coke oven lid having a seal plate 15 on the coke oven opposite side to the oven body is characterized by disposing an opening 1 in the lower portion of a bar spring 3-storing bar spring case for press-fixing the oven lid to the coke oven.
