RECORDING MEDIA, RECORDING DEVICE, AND PLAYBACK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of maintaining data compatibility between devices or preventing an error when one piece of recording media storing writings data necessary for copyright protection is shared between devices which are different for an interpretable file system and playback capability.

SOLUTION: The recording media 210 store digital writings data and are detachable to a recording and reproducing device 200. A plurality of information recording areas 215 and 216 are included in the recording media 210, and the plurality of information recording areas 215 and 216 are formed by at least one or more of an identification zone capable of being accessed from the recording and reproducing device 200 only when correctness of the recording reproducing device 200 is confirmed or a non-identification zone capable of accessing without confirming the correctness of the recording and reproducing device 200 in all other information recording areas.
