PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise absorber wherein fixing to a predetermined portion is easy even when a flat cable is hardly bent. SOLUTION: The noise absorber 1 is provided with an absorption component 10 which has a threading path 11 into which the flat cable is threaded and consists of a magnetic substance which absorbs noise propagating the inside of the flat cable, and a housing 20 which has a fixing part 26 for fixing to a packaging substrate and holds the absorption component 10. The packaging substrate has a printed board, and a connector which is arranged on the printed board and to which the flat cable is connected. The noise absorber 1 can be slid along the flat cable which is threaded into the threading path 11. As a result, the bending of the flat cable connected to the connector becomes unnecessary when the noise absorber 1 is attached, and the pushing of the noise absorber 1 to a fixing side becomes unnecessary even when the flat cable is hardly bent, so that fixing to a predetermined portion can be realized easily.
