<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear guide mechanism having simplified construction for preventing the dislocation or slippage of a cage while maintaining a proper positional relationship between the cage and a guide rail. <P>SOLUTION: The linear guide mechanism 100 comprises a movable table 1, a bed 2, and the cage 4. The movable table 1 has a pinion 31 and a pinion 32 rotatably supported on a shaft 33 and a guide rail 11 formed on one face of the movable table 1. The bed 2 has a guide rail 21 formed on one face of the bed 2 in opposition to the guide rail 11 and a rack 5 formed on a wall face 24 of the guide rail 21 in opposition to the pinion 31. The cage 4 has a rack 41 formed in opposition to the pinion 32. Herein, the pinion 31 is rotated in engagement with the rack 5 and the pinion 32 is rotated in engagement with the rack 41, and a roller 42 in the cage 4 rolls in contact with the guide rails 11, 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
