A remedy for kidney diseases which contains as the active ingredient a colon y- stimulating factor (CSF); and an agent for repairing and regenerating a kidn ey tissue which contains as the active ingredient a colony-stimulating factor (CSF). As the colony-stimulating factor, granulocyte colony-stimulating fact or (G-CSF) is preferred.
