The development of irrigating solutions used in ocular surgeries is useful for facilitating the surgical procedures as well as improving the post-operative results. The present invention relates to the use of a single or a combination of multiple drugs, elements and substances so as to be added to the irrigating solutions used in ophthalmic surgeries. The aforementioned provides effectiveness, safety and efficiency during and after the surgical procedure. The combination of the diverse drugs, elements and substances mixed together into the fortifying additive depends on the surgical prescription, thereby ranging the selection of the pharmacological family and even the dose according to said prescription.
