ULTRASONIC INSPECTION DEVICE AND INSPECTION METHOD USING THE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic inspection device which can evaluate material degradation such as heat embrittlement and damages such as intergranular corrosion using a non-destructive manner especially at a site, and to provide an inspection method using the device. SOLUTION: The device generates surface waves on the surface of a specimen S by irradiating ultrasonic waves from transmission oscillators 30 to the specimen S and receives surface waves or leaky waves caused by the surface waves by reception oscillators 40 to inspect the specimen. At least 2 pairs of the transmission oscillator 30 and reception oscillator 40 are provided so that lines L1-L4 each of which connects the pair of the transmission oscillators 30a-d and the reception oscillator 40a-d, respectively, crosses each other.
