PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable silicone resin composition with a high strength and hardness, which gives a cured product having an excellent transparency in a short wavelength region without shrinkage by curing and can be used as a material for optical parts, insulating material for electronic parts and coating. SOLUTION: The curable silicone resin composition contains a siloxane type of a compound (A) having at least 2 polycyclic hydrocarbon groups with carbon-carbon double bonds of an addition reaction type per molecule, a siloxane type of a compound (B) having at least 3 hydrogen atoms bonded to a silicon atom per molecule and a hydrosilylating catalyst (C).
