OPERATING BODY DETECTING SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating body detecting switch with the reliability and security on the maintenance and safety standpoint by setting the validity or invalidity of a switch function on the basis of detection of the presence / absence of a contact of a human body. SOLUTION: This switch is provided with: a first switch section for carrying out switching operations so that a state of an output signal is changed when an operating body such as the human body applies entry to an operation section; and a static capacitance type electronic switch section for carrying out switching operations so that a state of an output signal is changed on the basis of detection of a contact when a capacitance between the human body and ground is connected to a contact electrode. The operating body detecting switch is characterized in that the operating section of the first switch section and the contact electrode of the static capacitance type electronic switch section are formed to permit simultaneous operations by one operating body, and an output section is formed to provide a state change to a switch signal when both the states of the output signals from the first switch section and the static capacitance type electronic switch section are superimposingly changed.
