PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide swaddling clothes for infants increasing heat retaining property, easy to open/close and handle, and further activating the movements of the body of an infant in the swaddling clothes through facilitating taking the hands in and out. SOLUTION: The swaddling clothes is so designed that a waist part and a pair of leg parts are unitedly formed with wide and narrow front body and back body cloths and the front part of the front body cloth is placed on a side so as to protect the belly from chill, the bottoms of the pair of the leg parts are each stitched in a bag-like manner to increase heat retaining property, the freely openable/closable front part of the front body cloth is placed on a side so as to further facilitate opening/closing the front body cloth, and an opening part is set each on both the sides of the waist part so as to facilitate taking the hands in and out and further activate the movements of the body of the infant in the swaddling clothes.
