PURPOSE: A device for automatically displaying outer audio/video signal on television is provided to utilize prior television and automatically take on/off in accordance with outer audio/video signal. CONSTITUTION: A device for automatically displaying outer audio/video signal on television comprises a controller(110), a power sensing unit(120), a signal sensing unit(130), and a reboot signal generator(140). The power sensing unit(120) senses the ON/OFF of a television. The signal sensing unit(130) always senses the audio and/or video signals from outside to inform the status to the controller(110). The reboot signal generator(140) generates suitable infrared ray under control of the controller.
